support@byoidea.comCommon Questions
How do I get started?
Click "Build" from the homepage. Answer five questions about your idea and five about scope. No account required, you'll get a complete architecture blueprint in under two minutes.
What are the build paths?
Blueprint gives you a detailed architecture document to build yourself. Autopilot provisions everything for you, GitHub repo, database, hosting, and deployment, all on your own infrastructure.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The core experience, idea input, architecture generation, and blueprint, works without an account. Sign in to save blueprints, access My Apps, and unlock paid features like Autopilot.
What does it cost?
The blueprint is free. Autopilot is the paid tier, it builds and deploys your app on your own infrastructure. Each generated architecture includes real cost estimates for hosting, database, and third-party services based on your chosen scale.
How do I set up my own instance?
Visit the Setup page to configure your deployment. You'll connect Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI), and optionally Stripe (payments). The setup guide walks you through each step with direct dashboard links.
What tech stack does Prism recommend?
Prism analyzes your idea and recommends the best stack for your specific use case. It considers factors like scale, real-time needs, authentication requirements, and budget to suggest appropriate technologies across all five architecture layers.
How does the agent approval queue work?
Every tool your agent proposes, creating a calendar event, drafting an email, anything with a side effect, lands in /portal/dashboard/[id]/actions as a reviewable card. Nothing runs until you click Approve. Reject with an optional reason and that reason becomes a memory note the agent sees on its next wake. The Knowledge Base has a full walkthrough under Running Agents → The Approval Dashboard.
When does my agent start running on its own?
After you approve the same tool five times in a row, that tool promotes from Apprentice to Associate and can execute autonomously on the next wake. One rejection resets the counter to zero. Each tool earns trust independently. The Trust Levels card on your agent's live screen shows progress in real time. See Running Agents → How Trust Progression Works in the Knowledge Base.
Can I see what my agent did while I was away?
Yes, the Memory Timeline at /portal/dashboard/[id]/activity shows every conversation turn, tool execution, pending proposal, and rejection in reverse chronological order. Color-coded so you can scan a week of activity in seconds. This is the audit trail for autonomous runs.
Why can't my agent send email yet?
Gmail scopes require Google's CASA security audit, which takes three-to-nine months and isn't in V1.0. Until then, email actions work through a 'draft here, send from your own tab' pattern, your agent writes the email, you click Send in your own Gmail session. You remain the sender; the agent is the author. Calendar, on the other hand, is fully wired.
What happens to my app if I cancel my subscription?
Your app keeps running. Cancellation returns the keys via the Exit Protocol, a one-time credentials reveal plus a severance checklist (rotate Supabase key, uninstall the GitHub app, claim Vercel ownership). Infrastructure destruction is a separate, opt-in second click with a type-to-confirm guardrail. We never auto-delete a production deployment because someone canceled a subscription. See Iterating on Apps → Canceling Your Subscription.
